Founder's Story!
SUNITA SACHIN NAGRE
Sunita Sachin Nagre has been working on tribal padas in many parts of Maharashtra for the last ten years through her Abhishek Educational and Social Organization. The nature of the work is mainly education and health. That is, measures are taken to strengthen secondary education in rural areas. In comparison, measures are not taken on tribal padas. Sunita Nagre is working to ensure that the same measures are taken promptly.
Our Programs / Initiatives
Education
The government has provisions for schools in padas—covering construction, materials, and staffing—but neither the administration nor local politics take initiative. Sunita and her team not only work to establish schools but also actively ensure children attend, often going beyond infrastructure to bring students into classrooms.
